Our data and studies
The articles on Casino.org cover a wide range of topics, from NFL odds to the possibility of a shark attack. Below are some of our sources and instances of the approaches we’ve employed.
Quarter scoring in the NFL
Our research technique
We gathered data from teamrankings.com, which provides a database of statistical information on the performance of NFL clubs. This research utilizes score data from the 2017 NFL regular season, ignoring preseason and postseason statistics. No statistical testing was conducted, hence the mentioned assertions are based only on means. Therefore, this information is strictly experimental, and future study should take a more rigorous approach to this issue.

Our research technique
We collected all 30 NBA team-specific subreddits between July 1 and September 13, 2018 for comments.

It ranges from -1 to 1, with -1 being the most negative, 0 being neutral, and 1 being the most positive. We compiled odds from espn.com, nesen.com, and forbes.com to construct a metaranking of the most likely winning teams.

Our research strategy
We examined all Instagram postings using the hashtag #whathappensinvegasstaysinvegas between April 1, 2014 and December 12, 2015. We then eliminated the worst hashtag spammers, reducing the total number of postings to 22,939. The remaining postings’ contents were then assessed using Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, and the findings were shown.

Our research strategy
We studied J! Archive to obtain information about former Jeopardy! competitors. We identified the genders of the participants using these names by running them via genderize.io using Python. We evaluated genders with a minimum of fifty percent accuracy. The average score is based on occupations with at least 40 competitors. Only categories that appeared in at least 10 episodes were evaluated. By dividing the total number of correct answers by the total number of incorrect questions, ratios were calculated.

How much did Mayweather and McGregor make from their bout?
Our research strategy
Using the guaranteed purse estimates announced the morning of the fight, we computed what these totals would be per second, per minute, and each punch delivered during the length of the fight. Fight statistics were derived from data displayed by Showtime’s Sho Stats during the fight’s live broadcast. After pay-per-view coverage of the fight began (9 p.m. EST) and again when it concluded (3 a.m. EST), Twitter and Instagram were accessed for social media data (3am EST).
